Innovation and research

Statistics Denmark publishes each year the publication ”Innovation og Forskning”. The reports give a comprehensive view on the development in R&D in Denmark. They show that on a general level that Danish companies, which protects their knowledge through IP rights, is performing better on factors such as generating more jobs, higher turnover and increased export.

In some of the publications, data on how many companies have experienced counterfeiting and piracy can be found.
