The quantification of IPR infringement study series comprises a dozen of specialised studies in various sectors such as the cosmetics and personal care sector; clothing, shoes and acessories; luggage and handbags, watches and jewellery, sports goods, medicines, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, as well as the sectors of games and toys, computers and automotive parts.
Taken together, the studies will be complementary and provide a complete and objective picture of the negative impact of counterfeiting and its consequences for legitimate businesses, governments, consumers, and ultimately society as a whole.
The studies focus on key results such as lost sales, revenue and employment, as well as on knock-on effects on other industries and on government revenue.
